We’ve all been there. We’ve all had to do it at some point.

Let’s look at how to make the change to being “Single” quickly and quietly. 

1. Login to your account and click on your profile.

2. Click the “About” section on your profile. 

3.  Click “Edit” under Basic Info and navigate to the section titled “Relationship Status.” 

4. Before changing your status, take note of the icon on the far right side. Be sure it’s marked as “Only Me.” Then click Save.

5. Feel free to change your Relationship Status to whatever you want. Your friends won’t be notified of the change. 

Tip: Once you have changed it privately, you can change your visibility back to “Friends” or even “Public” and your friends won’t be notified of the change, but it is still visible on your profile.
